Building Bethany VOA’s First High Power International Broadcast Station

The Voice of America Bethany Relay Station was built in 1943. It had six high-power shortwave transmitters with 27 antennas and was able to blanket the world 24 hours a day with news and information throughout and after World War II.

Now to radio amateurs it’s known as WC8VOA
